MACBRIDE YOOFI HAYFORD – Board Chairman

MacBride Yoofi Hayford is a Marketer and Banker with over twelve years’ experience in the banking industry having worked in various capacities in Standard Chartered Bank and Zenith Bank. Prior to joining the banking industry, he had a brief stint with Somotex Ghana Limited as a sales executive.

He is a graduate of the Central University where he obtained a BSc Admin with first class honours (Marketing Option), He also holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from University of Ghana Business School.  Mr. Hayford is a professional lawyer and a member of the Ghana Bar Association.

He is currently the MD for Macford Cleaners Limited.

SELORM SAMUEL KWAME BOKORDEDZI – Director

Selorm is an experienced banking professional with in-depth knowledge of commodity trade financing, marketing and risk management. His over 12 years risk management activities and experience in the banking industry saw him contribute immensely to quality asset growth of a number of local and multinational companies, including FBN Bank Ghana(Head; Credit Analysis), BBG(Risk officer), Seed Fund(Head; Risk Management and Control) and OmniBank(Credit Underwriting Manager).

Selorm has demonstrated over the period a high level of versatility corroborated by a proven record covering a wide range of areas including but not limited to staff management, strategy formulation, negotiations, credit/trade finance instruments’ structuring and reporting.  As a result-oriented professional, he has fostered positive team dynamism in various capacities throughout his career.

Selorm is a disciplined and very analytical manager who draws on experience to design effective control systems/functions and improve existing ones in the organizational set up.  He is entrepreneurial with a demonstrated track record of healthy balance between control and business development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and Economics from the University of Ghana. He also holds Risk management and finance Certifications from the National Banking College.

NANA YAW OWUSU-NKRAHENE – Chief Executive Officer

Nana Yaw Owusu-Nkrahene is a Chartered member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).  He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and an MBA in Finance, from University of Leicester, UK.

Mr. Owusu-Nkrahene has extensive knowledge in the field of corporate finance and investment financing. He has contributed to the success of a number of organisations through effective and prudent management of company’s financial resources. Mr. Owusu-Nkrahene also has a sound track record as business analyst who has provided consultancy services to many small and medium size companies in Ghana. He has over 10 years remarkable experience in the oil and gas industry. He was until year 2014, the Finance Manager of Galaxy Oil Ghana Limited.

SAMUEL KWAME AFRIYIE – Director, Board Member

Samuel Kwame Afriyie is a legal practitioner who provides legal services in the USA and outside, focused on intellectual property litigation, prosecution matters, general contracts, oil and gas contracts and transactional matters. He is also professor at University of San Francisco Law School.

Mr. Afriyie started his career as a Product Engineer at Ltx Corp, Westwood, in the USA in 1997 and moved on to become Senior Development Engineer in another firm Motorola Inc. where he was responsible for CAPE design project. He coordinated, oversaw, and implemented design methodologies and activities for CAPE trail blazer modems.

He later ventured into the legal field where he started as an Intellectual Property Attorney Trainee at Intel Corporation, Santa Clara in the USA from 2002 to 2004. He became an Intellectual Property Attorney in 2008.  He incorporated his own chambers Samuel & Associates where he is the principal legal partner.

Mr. Afriyie has a BSc. in Computer Science/Engineering and MBA, Information Systems.
