Nana Yaw Owusu-Nkrahene is a seasoned finance and energy sector executive with nearly two decades of progressive professional experience spanning accounting, corporate finance, strategic leadership, and executive management. His career trajectory, (from Accounts Officer to Finance Manager, Chief Finance Officer, and ultimately Executive Director), has equipped him with strong strategic insight, disciplined financial stewardship, and a proven ability to drive organizational growth, transformation, value creation within complex business environments, and change management.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, and a master’s degree in finance from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He is also a Chartered member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). These academic and professional credentials underpin his deep expertise in corporate finance, investment financing, financial governance, and performance management.
Mr. Owusu-Nkrahene has played a pivotal role in strengthening the financial health and operational effectiveness of a number of organizations through prudent financial resource management, strategic planning, and sound decision-making. He also brings strong analytical capabilities, having successfully provided business analysis and financial consultancy services to numerous small and medium-sized enterprises in Ghana. With nearly 20 years of dedicated experience in the oil and gas industry, (including his tenure as Finance Manager of Galaxy Oil Ghana Limited until 2014), he combines technical financial expertise with a strong understanding of the energy sector, positioning him as a respected leader and strategic partner at the executive level.
Evans Mortey is the Finance Manager with 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, internal audit, fund management and customer management. He holds a first degree in BSc Administration (Accounting option) from the University of Professional Studies and an MBA in Accounting and Finance. He is also a trained stockbroker from the Ghana Stock Exchange.
Evans joined Frontier Oil from one of the active trading BDC firms where he served as the Financial Accountant responsible for finance related strategies and acquired in-depth knowledge and experience of downstream oil and gas industry.
